Remove the slide sunshade frame.

Cut the double-sided adhesive tapes (A) with a utility knife, then remove the upper cross-member cover (B).

Adhesive tape:

Thickness 2 mm (0.08 in.) Width 18 mm (0.71 in.) Length 25 mm (0.98 in.)

Scrape off the remaining double-sided adhesive tape from the upper cross-member, then clean the upper cross-member surface with a sponge dampened in alcohol.

Using a T15 TORX bit, remove the screws (A). Using a T25 TORX bit, remove the screw (B), then remove the upper cross-member (C) and the sleeve (D).

Install the upper cross-member in the reverse order of removal, and apply medium strength type liquid thread lock to the screw B securing upper cross-member and sunshade frame before reinstallation.
