Rear Seat-back Cover Replacement
NOTE:
  • When removing components, use the trim tools or equivalent.
  • Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  1. Remove the screws (A), and detach the clips (B), then remove the striker hole cover (C).
  1. Release the hooks (A), then remove the tether anchor cover (B).
  1. While pulling the lock knob (A), remove the screw.
  1. Pull up the rear edge of the lock knob trim (A) to release the pivot (B) of the lock knob and a hole in the sea-back.
  1. Remove the screws, and release the hook (A), then remove the seat belt hole cover (B). Slip the rear center seat belt out through the slit (C) in the sear belt hole cover.
  1. From behind the seat-back, release the hook (A), and unzip the seat-back cover (B).
  1. Pull back the seat-back cover (A), then release the hook strips (B) from the seat-back frame (C).
  1. Pull out the seat-back pad (A) from the frame (B), then pull out the headrest guides (C) and center headrest guides (D) while pinching the tabs on the ends of the guides, and remove them.
  1. Pull back the edge of the seat-back cover all the way around, and release the clips (A), then remove the seat-back cover.

  1. Remove the seat-back pad (A) from the seat-back frame (B).
  1. Right seat-back: Pass the rear center seat belt (A) out through a hole in the seat-back pad (B).
  1. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Make sure the seat lock cable is connected securely.
    • To prevent wrinkles when installing a seat-back cover, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the pad before securing the clips, hooks, and hook strips.
    • Replace any clips you removed with new ones (A).
