Rear Seat Removal/Installation
NOTE:
  • Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the rear seat.
  • Take care not to scratch the trim and panels or tear the seat covers.
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Lifted the rear seat foot guide hook (A) with the pliers (B) wrapped with protective tape, then remove the rear seat reg pipe (C).
  1. Remove the headrests and the center headrest.
  1. Release the Velcro fasteners (A), then pull back the seat-back cover (B). Pass the rear seat belt buckles (C) through the holes in the seat-back cover.
  1. Fold both rear seats down.
  1. Remove the bolts (A) and nuts (B) securing the rear seat.

  1. Remove the right rear seat (A) and the left rear seat (B) through both rear door openings.
    NOTE: The rear seat cushion is not locked at the lifted position.
  1. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Before installing the anchor bolt, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the center seat belt.
    • Tighten the seat mounting bolts (A) and nuts (B) to the specified torque in the sequence shown.

  1. Install the rear seat reg pipe.

    Lift the rear seat foot guide hook, it fixes with the adhesive tape (A).

    Install the rear seat reg pipe, then detached the adhesive tape.
