Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Cargo Area
NOTE:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • When removing components, use the trim tools or equivalent.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
Rear Trim Panel
  1. Reverse the rear floor lid assembly.
  1. Remove the rear trim panel (A).
    -1.
    Disengage the tabs (B) and hooks (C) on both sides from both rear side trim panel (D).
    -2.
    Detach the clips by pulling the panel up.
  1. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips and hooks into place securely.
Rear Floor Mat - Without Rear Floor Lid
  1. Fold both rear seats down.
  1. Release the Velclo fasteners (A), then pull back the edge of the rear floor mat (B).
  1. Remove the rear floor mat (A).
    -1.
    Pry up on the lid (B), and remove the bolts (C).
    -2.
    Pull the floor mat back, and remove the bolts (D).
    -3.
    Release the hooks (E).
  1. Install the floor mat in the reverse order of removal.
Rear Floor Mat - With Rear Floor Lid
  1. Fold both rear seats down.
  1. Release the Velclo fasteners (A), then pull back the edge of the rear floor mat (B).
  1. Pull out the rear floor mat (A) to detach the clips, and release the hooks (B).
  1. Install the floor mat in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips into place securely.
Rear Floor Lid
  1. Remove the rear floor mat.
  1. Pry up on the lid (A), and remove the bolts.
  1. Remove the bolts, and release the hook (A), then remove rear floor lid (B).
  1. Install the floor lid in the reverse order of removal.
Rear Floor Carpet
  1. Reverse the rear floor lid assembly.
  1. Remove the rear floor box (A).
  1. Remove these items:
  1. Remove the rear floor carpet (A).
  1. Install the floor carpet in the reverse order of removal.
