Dashboard Defogger Vent Trim Removal/Installation
Front Defogger Vent
NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
  • When removing components, use the trim tools or equivalent.
  1. Insert the trim tool into a gap between the front defogger vent trim (A) and the dashboard.
  1. Gently pull out the front defogger vent trim (A) to release the hooks (B), then remove the vent.
  1. Install the defogger vent in the reverse order of removal.
Side Defogger Vent Trim
NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
  • When removing components, use the trim tools or equivalent.
  1. Insert the trim tool into a gap between the side defogger vent trim (A) and the dashboard.
  1. Gently pull out the side defogger vent (A) to release the hooks (B), then remove the vent.
  1. Install the defogger vent trim in the reverse order of removal.
