Rear Wheel Arch Protector Replacement

NOTE:
  • When removing components, use the trim tools or equivalent.
  • Take care not to scratch the body.
  • Put to gloves to protect your hands.
  1. Remove the screws (A) and clip (B) securing the rear wheel arch protector (C).

  1. Gently pull out on the rear edge of the wheel arch protector (A) to release the hooks (B).
  1. Start the bottom to the middle of the wheel arch, pry the clip portions of the wheel arch protector up with a trim tool to detach the clips (C, D).
    NOTE: Take care not to damage paint around a clip hole in the rear outside panel during clip removal. If paint is damaged, repair it with touch-up paint to ensure corrosion protection.

  1. Start the bottom to the middle of the wheel arch, pry the clip portions of the wheel arch protector (A) up with a trim tool to detach the clips.
    NOTE: Take care not to damage paint around clip holes in the rear outside panel during clips removal. If paint is damaged, repair it with touch-up paint to ensure corrosion protection.
  1. Install the wheel arch protector in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips and hooks into place securely.
