Remove these items:

Disconnect the hood opener cable (A) from the hood latch (B), and disconnect the hood opener cable from the hood release handle (C).

LHD: Remove the air intake silencer (D).

Using a clip remover, detach the clips, and remove the grommet (E) from the body, then remove the hood opener cable from the vehicle. Take care not to kink the cable.

Install the cable in the reverse order of removal. Check for damaged or stress-whitened clips, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.

Remove these items:
